CUSTOM FOOT ORTHOTICS 

Custom orthotics are made specifically for each patient. They are different from the off the shelf inserts. Orthotics are designed to restore neutral foot mechanics and motion, reduce pain either in the foot, knee, hip or lower back and can be used for shock absorption. in addition, they can be used to balance weight distribution and take the pressure off the painful areas.

How does it work?

Once the patient has been examined and evaluated by a practitioner using gait analysis among other joints ranges of motion, a 3-D scan of the feet are taken and digitally sent to the lab. Custom made orthotics are sometimes prescribed by the family doctor or recommended by Chiropractors, Osteopaths or physiotherapists to help address and manage their conditions.
